The SEE Awards highlight structural engineering ingenuity in the world and incredible achievements in the profession.
Each year, NCSEA awards the Structural Engineering Excellence (SEE) Awards to some of the most innovative and creative projects in the world. View the press release announcing the 2023 winners along with an archive of past winners.
Structural engineers and structural engineering firms are encouraged to enter their projects to highlight their successes and accomplishments. Projects are judged on innovative design, engineering achievement, and creativity.
2024 Structural Engineering Excellence (SEE) Awards
Call for Submissions
DEADLINE: Monday, June 17, 2024
ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is $545 and must be paid online.
JURY OF AWARDS: The selection of award recipients will be made by a distinguished Jury of Awards. There will be a minimum of five jurors. All jurors shall be structural engineers licensed as P.E.’s or S.E.’s.
JUDGING CRITERIA:
Complexity of criteria or unique problems (20%)
Creativity of structural design (20%)
Innovative application of new or existing materials or techniques (20%)
Commitment to sustainability through efficient use of materials, resilience, circular economy principles, or embodied carbon reduction (20%)
Ingenuity of design for constructability challenges and efficient use of labor (20%)
